What we check

Five things that matter

No 4.7-out-of-5 ratings, no padded decimals. Every item either passes, fails, or doesn’t apply — based on the actual test, not our feelings. When two hosts are close, we show you both numbers.

Setup

How long it took to get the software running. Does the host offer one-click installs? Are the docs any good?

Performance

How fast the server actually is — processor, storage, internet speed. For AI tools, how fast it reaches ChatGPT and Claude.

Pricing

What you pay for the same server at every host. Any hidden fees? Is it cheap for what you get?

Security

Firewall, two-factor login, automatic backups, DDoS protection. The stuff that keeps you out of trouble.

Support

We file a real support ticket with each host and see how long they take to reply, and whether the answer actually helps.
